<p><strong>Dave East</strong> took a trip to Montreal, Canada, to <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/watch-busta-rhymes-performs-three-of-children-cie-ria-trillian-video/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">put on a show</a> for his fans. But, after what looked like a verbal tussle, local cops are sending him back to the States with burning eyes. A circulating video seemingly shows police officers pepper-spraying the &#8220;Perfect&#8221; rapper.</p>
<p>According to <a href="https://www.complex.com/music/a/louispavlakos/dave-east-reportedly-pepper-sprayed-by-montreal-police" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Complex Canada</a>, Dave East held the concert on Dec. 19 at Le Rouge Bar. The outlet and <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/rapper-dave-east-pepper-sprayed-182413833.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yahoo Entertainment</a> have said it&#8217;s unclear what led the police to the venue. However, several videos show a lil&#8217; bit of what went down.</p>
<p>One clip reportedly shows the Service de Police de la Ville de Montreal (SPVM) telling a French patron they plan to search everyone in the venue. Meanwhile, another shows East telling concert attendees that &#8220;the boys&#8221; had arrived. He also clarified his intent.</p>
<p><strong><em>&#8220;I don&#8217;t want no problems, you heard,&#8221; the rapper said on the mic. &#8220;They just let a n***a get over here. I want to keep it cool.&#8221; </em></strong></p>
<p>As Dave East exited the venue, one woman dressed in a tan winter coat rubbed his shoulders and repeatedly said, &#8220;Sorry.&#8221; That circulating clip doesn&#8217;t explain if she was a fan or connected to the venue. However, East wasn&#8217;t here for the close contact. He turned around as the woman trailed him and delivered a <em>firm </em>&#8220;quit touching me&#8221; while walking with his entourage. Afterward, he&#8217;s seen crossing a busy street toward a group of local cops.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Video Shows Dave East Reacting To Pepper-Spray From Montreal Cops</h3>
<p>A close-up <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/aap-ferg-dave-east-and-dapper-dan-join-dj-webstar-in-giving-back-to-harlem-youth-at-12th-annual-holiday-toy-drive/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">video of Dave East</a> shows him speaking to what looks like a group of people as they all stand near the police.</p>
<p>Visibility irritated, Dave turned to a few women and said, &#8220;That&#8217;s all we did,&#8221; before turning to the cops and shouting,<em> &#8220;What the hell are y&#8217;all doing?&#8221; </em></p>
<p>He seemingly added, <em>&#8220;Why are y&#8217;all acting like that?&#8221;</em></p>
<p>Despite his elevated voice, Dave East&#8217;s interaction with the local police appeared non-violent. Meanwhile, in the background, viewers can hear the police sounding off whistles every few seconds, seemingly attempting to break up the crowds.</p>
<p>Then, suddenly, a cloud of pepper spray was released in Dave East&#8217;s face. He quickly turned his body as the pepper spray kept coming. It appeared to be coming from more than one officer, but that remains unconfirmed.</p>
<p>East moved away from the police group, visibility clutching his face and using water to alleviate his eyes, per Complex Canada.</p>
<p>When this article was published, Dave East hadn&#8217;t responded to the incident via his social media or elsewhere.</p>
