Whew! Wendy Williams and Nene Leakes are the besties we live for, but it looks like they’re having a little issue at the moment.
Wendy is now going live for the Wendy Show from her home, and had plenty of tea to spill about the weekend she had after a spat with Nene. Wendy says she is not feeling Nene after she tried to “ambush” her, and trick her into appearing on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ again!
“Here’s where the ambush comes in,” Wendy says. “She said, ‘Wendy look.’ She was in hair and makeup and wardrobe with all her people. She said, ‘We’re filming, and I want you to be on speaker. I said, ‘Nene, I did that for you one time, you asked me to.”
Wendy continues saying, “…And I made it very clear, I am not a housewife. Sorry, my career is a bit different than being a housewife. I don’t need that kind of attention. And then I hung up on her.”
Wendy goes on to express her frustration with Nene, saying she’s built her career over the years, and says there’s a difference between what she and Nene do for a living.
“I know I make this look easy, and I know I have my ratchet ways,” she says. “But the fact is I’ve worked 35 years of my life to sit here for 11 seasons at this. It’s a full motion picture behind the scenes. I’m not slumming by being some add on out of a suitcase for some housewives.”
