<p>#<em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/wheretheyatnow-taral-hicks-steps-into-the-shade-room-reflects-on-her-classic-roles-her-latest-projects-more/">TSRWhereTheyAtNow</a></em>: We know ya&#8217;ll remember seeing <em><a href="https://www.instagram.com/theashleymoniqueclark/">Ashley Monique Clark</a></em> on your screens over the years. We literally watched her grow up on camera as she appeared on shows such as &#8220;The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,&#8221; &#8220;Moesha,&#8221; &#8220;Sunset Beach,&#8221; and of course she starred as Sydney Hughley on the sitcom &#8220;The Hughleys&#8221; alongside, D.L. Hughley.</p>
<p>However, her roles didn&#8217;t stop there, and she also starred in the 2003 box office hit &#8220;Love Don&#8217;t Cost A Thing.&#8221;</p>
<p>Years later, and Ashley is still acting and working towards her dream roles. We caught up with Ashley to see what was it like growing up as a child actor in the industry, some of her fondest memories, and what we can expect from her next.</p>
<p>When asked what was her most memorable role and why, she said, &#8220;My memorable role would have to be Sydney Hughley. The reason I always picked Sydney is because, honestly I spent so much time as Sydney. I grew up as Sydney, and it was really fun. The character that I played was so much like myself growing up.&#8221;</p>
<p>Ashley also revealed to us that there were some struggles she faced transitioning from a child actress to an adult actress. One of the main struggles being that many people didn&#8217;t want her to grow up when it came to the roles that she played, and often she wanted to play roles that were close to her age in real life.</p>
<p>Nonetheless, she is still acting in projects and revealed that one of her dream roles would be for her to play a superhero, and she has another project dropping real soon.</p>
