According to Sony Music, she is the first Black recording artist to have three RIAA Diamond-certified albums, since her second studio album, “Whitney,” has been certified 10x platinum.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 1987 album produced five Billboard Top 10 singles and the first four&#8211;”I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),” “Didn’t We Almost Have It All,” “So Emotional,” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” all charting as No. 1. This also makes her the first recording artist ever with four consecutive Hot 100 No. 1’s, Billboard reports.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">That’s not all. Her debut album, Whitney Houston, charted three consecutive No. 1’s&#8211;&#8220;Saving All My Love for You,&#8221; &#8220;How Will I Know,&#8221; and &#8220;Greatest Love of All.” In total, Whitney had seven consecutive number one hit singles.</span></p>
