<p><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/?s=Whoopi+Goldberg&;post_type=post" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Whoopi Goldberg</strong></a> called out a mouthy audience member of <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/?s=the+view&;post_type=post" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>The View</strong></a> on Wednesday, shutting the heckler down after he called her an &#8220;old broad&#8221; on live television.</p>
<p>The clap-back moment occurred towards the very beginning of the show, as all the hosts came to take their seats. The audience was described as &#8220;very happy,&#8221; but one particularly enthusiastic member began shouting at herding Wednesday&#8217;s broadcast, according to <a href="https://ew.com/tv/whoopi-goldberg-the-view-heckler-old-broad/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Entertainment Weekly</strong></a>.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Heckler Calls Whoopi Goldberg An &#8220;Old Broad,&#8221; Whoopi Snaps Back On Air During &#8220;The View&#8221;</h3>
<blockquote><p>“Did you just call me an ‘old broad’? Yeah,” the 67-year-old show moderator snapped in response to the on-air critique. “She said, ‘You old broad,’ and I was like, ‘Hey, it’s Wednesday, and I <em>am </em>an old broad, and happy about it.’ “</p></blockquote>
<p>The camera then suddenly cuts to a woman donning a large fur hat ash she gestured in acknowledgement.</p>
<p>Goldberg&#8217;s co-host quickly Sunny Houston, 54, rushed to her defense while feminine her that being an &#8220;old broad&#8221; is still better than the alternative.</p>

<blockquote><p>“The alternative is not attractive to any of us,” said Goldberg. “We all want to be old broads and old dudes, you know?”</p></blockquote>
<p>The woman with the fur hat then inexplicably became the focus of the cameraman throughout the rest of the show.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Goldberg Has Found Herself In Hot Water Recently For A Holocaust Slur That Got Her Suspended From &#8220;The View&#8221;</h3>
<p>Meanwhile, Goldberg has found herself in trouble on a handful of hot topics, including her repeating the Holocaust slur (that the Holocaust wasn&#8217;t about race) which ultimately got her suspended from The View.</p>
<blockquote><p>“Recently while doing press in London, I was asked about my comments from earlier this year. I tried to convey to the reporter what I had said and why, and attempted to recount that time,” said Goldberg in her most recent apology.</p></blockquote>
<p>The 67-year-old Oscar-winning actress said she learned the errors of her ways after meeting with &#8220;people like rabbis.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Whoopi Apologizes For Holocaust Comment, Says &#8220;She&#8217;s Still Learning A Lot&#8221;</h3>
<blockquote><p>“It was never my intention to appear as if I was doubling down on hurtful comments, especially after talking with and hearing people like rabbis and old and new friends weighing in.</p></blockquote>
<p>She admitted she&#8217;s &#8220;still learning a lot,&#8221; and again offered &#8220;sincere apologies,&#8221; regarding the Holocaust comment.</p>
<blockquote><p>“I’m still learning a lot, and believe me, I heard everything everyone said to me. I believe that the Holocaust was about race, and I am still as sorry now as I was then that I upset, hurt and angered people,” the actress continued. “My sincere apologies again, especially to everyone who thought this was a fresh rehash of the subject. I promise it was not.”</p></blockquote>
