A former Atlanta Falcons player is in some serious trouble after allegedly having sex with a 12-year-old girl. Justin Crawford, 23, was hit with numerous charges from incest, sodomy, and enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to WSB-2.
“During a preliminary hearing on Monday, Columbus Detective Mark Scruggs said his wife, ‘woke up Saturday around 5 a.m. and walked into her living room to find her husband standing over the child,’” the site reports.
Via WSB-2: “When she confronted her husband about, he denied doing anything wrong, and surprisingly she just let it go and went back to bed.
She ended up taking the 12-year-old to her mother, and the girl said that she was sleep on the couch when Justin came in and began sexually assaulting her, Scruggs said at the hearing.
The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reported that Justin denied doing anything wrong, but later confessed to police “to having oral sex and intercourse with her but claimed it was her idea.”
He is currently behind bars, where he should be, without bond.
