The film, featuring breakout star #TiffanyHaddish and veterans #ReginaHall, #QueenLatifah and #JadaPinkettSmith, has officially become the highest grossing comedy of 2017. The only thing that could make it better is a sequel, and according to reports, and the idea is not so far-fetched!
Producer #WillPacker recently sat down with Vulture where he revealed that they’re in talks for a “Girls Trip 2.”
Were definitely talking about it. The only thing harder than opening a studio comedy today is opening a studio comedy sequel,” Packer said. “Thats the next challenge. I love our team. If anybody can do it, we can do it. Its still a little early the movie is still in theaters but its something weve all thought about.
Still, it’s too early to confirm anything since the film has been out just over a month now. “It’s still a little early,” he added. “The movie is still in theaters but it’s something we’ve all thought about.”
