A new docuseries about Wiz Khalifa, titled “Wiz Khalifa: Behind The Cam” will be coming to Apple Music later this month.
According to Variety, the five-episode series will feature archival footage as it shows the rise of Wiz Khalifa throughout his successful career. The series will also feature interviews from some of his family members and close friends, as it goes “into the most intimate aspects of Wiz’s life.”
Wiz expressed his excitement for the series and said, “Taylor Gang has been with me since the start, so I wanted to make something to show just how far we’ve come.”
Producers for the project include SMAC Entertainment, Taylor Gang, Dirty Robber, and Atlantic Records.
Michael Strahan, who serves as an executive producer said, “Wiz and I both share a passion for family, friendship and hard work, and that’s exactly what you’ll see from him in this series. We’re excited to team up with Apple Music and give the world an intimate look into the rise of an entertainment icon.”
“Wiz Khalifa: Behind The Cam” premieres on Apple Music on April 17th.
