<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">The shocking child sexual abuse allegations involving comedians<a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tiffany-haddish-deeply-regrets-acting-in-skit-named-in-child-sex-abuse-lawsuit-says-it-wasnt-funny-at-all-despite-comedic-intentions/"> Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears</a> have shaken up Hollywood in a matter of days, and the woman who sued the pair for allegedly abusing her now wants immediate action taken. According to new reports, the unidentified woman recently submitted a formal letter to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office calling for the “immediate arrest and prosecution” of both Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears.</p>
<p>@LATimes reports, earlier today, the woman who filed an <u><a class="ProsemirrorEditor-link" href="https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/story/2022-09-06/tiffany-haddish-aries-spears-child-sexual-abuse-lawsuit">official lawsuit</a></u> against Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears due to allegations that the two sexually abused her and her brother as children while appearing in a comedy sketch, is now taking things a serious step further. She has just submitted a letter to the L.A. County D.A.’s Office requesting that Tiffany and Aries be immediately arrested and prosecuted due to her allegations. In the letter addressed to Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón, the woman details that she and her brother initially filed a police report against Tiffany and Aries back in January 2020 in Las Vegas, but says that Vegas police passed the case to the LAPD who “has done nothing with this complaint.”</p>
<p>Her letter to the D.A.’s Office further alleges that the Los Angeles police officer assigned to her case, identified as Detective Eastborn, reportedly told her and her mother that her formal complaint of sexual abuse was “not a priority” because “there are children being molested present day.” A portion of her letter about Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears also reads, “My brother and I are prepared to speak with investigators and prosecutors from your office and provide you with irrefutable evidence that substantiates our allegations.”</p>
<p>As we previously reported, Tiffany Haddish finally spoke out about the lawsuit against herself and Spears, noting that she understood the initial backlash, but was also looking for answers:</p>
<blockquote><p><em>“I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now.”</em></p></blockquote>
<p><em> </em>Her statement continued, adding “But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all–and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”</p>
