While preparing to give birth to her first child, Yaya Mayweather is clearing a few things up about the status of her romantic life.
Once referred to as her purported baby daddy NBA YoungBoy’s “wife,” Yaya is now claiming to not have a boyfriend.
She took to her Instagram story late Wednesday night to interact with a few fans.
Yaya invited fans to ask to post pics and videos of her life. One fan asked her to post a pic or video of her baby bump and she responded by uploading a video of herself dancing while sportin’ her bump.
Other people asked her to post pics of her family–like her famous father, Floyd Money Mayweather–her toes and even, a “time she was happy.”
But when one person asked Yaya to post a pic or video of her “current boyfriend,” her response was a bit surprising.
She uploaded a video of herself laughing hysterically along with a written response that read, “I don’t have a boyfriend.”
Her response may or may not be surprising to fans. While on the one hand Yaya has appeared to be nothing but loyal to her on again off again love, NBA YoungBoy, he himself is currently in a relationship with another girl.
Earlier this month, a video of Youngboy and his girlfriend Jazyn Mychelle dancing together circulated on social media just weeks after Yaya’s baby shower, which he was a no show at.
Not to mention, YoungBoy also welcomed his sixth child with ex Drea Symone at the end of November.
Regardless of their relationship status, we hope Yaya and YoungBoy get to a peaceful place before their baby arrives and we wish her a safe and healthy delivery.
