Young M.A. was feasting on oysters, chilling on a yacht, and seemingly surrounded by loved ones for her 31st birthday. On Monday, the New York rapper shared snippets of her celebration–just a few weeks after fans expressed concern about her health.
“Just blessed to be blessed. 31 years on this Earth. Been grateful and still grateful! Happy bday to a Kween,” Young M.A. wrote in the first birthday post.

Last month, a video Young M.A.’s barber posted garnered mixed reactions online–concern but also critiques for the barber posting the content. The content showed M.A. with apparent hair loss and yellowed eyes and skin.
Fats Da Barber was the first to break the silence, saying M.A. would’ve told him not to record if she had a problem with it.
He added, “Y’all don’t know our bond nor our friendship what y’all need to do is just send prayers for her, and that’s that.” However, he didn’t reveal why concerned fans should pray.
Shortly after, Young M.A. shared a message similar to what she echoed on her 31st birthday. She wrote, “We blessed don’t let that get to you blooda,” she responded to Fats Da Barber’s post. Then, she released a statement.
“As many of my supporters know, I’ve been dealing with various personal health issues [over] the last few years,” she wrote. “I was recently hospitalized and was successfully treated for several conditions.” M.A. added, “I’m doing better now, will take time but I’m on the road to recovery and look forward to the future. I’m in good spirits, and everything will be explained in the MUSIC! Plus documentary.
Young M.A. Shares Yacht Views On 31st Birthday
Videos posted to Young M.A.’s Instagram feed show the rapper lip-syncing to her music in the late evening. And according to her Insta-Story, the vibes began in the daylight hours. She shared views from the back of the yacht, of her plate and what looked like a piña colada–though we can’t confirm if it was a virgin one!
In another post, M.A. shared a video of a woman wearing a bikini top, oversized sunglasses, and dark curly hair. The caption said, “If she ain’t bad, she ain’t next to me.” But it’s unclear what’s the woman’s ties to the rapper.
On Tuesday, she also shared a re-cap of her birthday adventures–including her designer luggage, mansion stay, Rolls Royce ride, seven icy chains, and interactions with her people.
“That’s what I’m grateful for anything and everything,” she wrote in the caption.
Fats Da Barber also let Young M.A. know he loves her in a birthday post featuring photos and a video of them.
