<p>Young Thug recently did an exclusive interview with <a href="http://gq.com">GQ</a> and as usual he said some things that make you say&#8230;. &#8220;hmmmm&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>The interview started off with the question: Are you a music lifer? As in do you want to do music for the rest of your life. Young Thug stated that he doesn&#8217;t want to be 50 years old rapping. He then went on to say that Jay-Z doesn&#8217;t even want to rap at his age. My thing is, how are you going to speak for Jay though? He was just on tour!</p>
<p>The interviewer went on to ask him: Why Is It Such A Young Man&#8217;s Game? That&#8217;s when Young Thug replied:</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re 30, 40 years old, you&#8217;re not getting listened to by minors. Like, Jay Z has some of the sickest lyrics ever, but I would never buy his CD, just because of my age and because of his age. By the time I turn that old, I ain&#8217;t gonna be doing what he&#8217;s doing.</p>
<p>Well, is he right? How many Rappers in their 40&#8217;s or 50&#8217;s besides 2chainz have buzz in the industry? Not many. However, we don&#8217;t need the children listening to Young Thug&#8217;s music either! I&#8217;m all for club bangers but if we can&#8217;t comprehend what you are saying&#8230;..</p>
<p>Anyway, despite all of the Lil Wayne and Birdman drama, Young Thug (who has been accused of trying to take Wayne&#8217;s place) openly admitted that he admired Wayne&#8217;s career and would love to have one like it.</p>
<p>He also stated that he would like to be the next Bill Gates. Well&#8230;</p>
<p>Young Thug is known for his shocking statements. We still haven&#8217;t forgotten his interview with Bossip when he stated that he doesn&#8217;t feel he should have an opinion about Ferguson.</p>
<p>Ironically, I don&#8217;t think we are giving Young Thug and his marketing team the credit that they deserve!</p>
