<p><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/ysl-co-defendant-calls-for-mistrial-after-interrogation-video-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Young Thug&#8217;s</strong></a> older brother <strong>Unfoonk</strong>, whose real name is <strong>Quantavious</strong> <strong>Grier</strong>, was arrested on a gun charge just months after accepting a plea deal in the ongoing Young Slime Life (YSL) RICO case.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Young Thug&#8217;s Older Brother Unfoonk Arrested On Gun Charges Months After Accepting YSL RICO Plea</h3>
<p>On Thursday, Unfoonk <a href="https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/fulton-county/young-thugs-brother-arrested-gun-charge-after-taking-plea-deal-ysl-case/DOVORJ7VBNESZCAMLGIEWHBXAY/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was arrested</a> for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and being a person associated with a criminal street gang while participating in illegal activity, according to <em>WSB-TV.</em></p>
<p>The rapper&#8217;s also facing other smaller traffic offenses stemming from this latest arrest.</p>
<p>Unfoonk <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/young-thugs-brother-unfoonk-denies-snitching-after-becoming-fifth-co-defendant-to-accept-plea-deal-in-rappers-ongoing-rico-case/?_gl=1*1xppwnz*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTQ1MDAyMzQwNS4xNjgzMzAzMTI2*_ga_V2HX8YP3XL*MTY4MzMwMzEyNS4xLjEuMTY4MzMwMzU1OS4wLjAuMA.." target="_blank" rel="noopener">pleaded guilty</a> in December to one count of violating the RICO Act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property in connection to the YSL case.</p>
<p>Unfoonk accepted a 12-year sentence with two years commuted already to time served and ten years probation, <em>WSB-TV</em> reports.</p>
<p>He will perform 750 hours of community service and keep a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew as a part of his probation.</p>
<p>He must also not have any contact with his brother Young Thug or any other of the YSL defendants until the RICO case is over.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s unclear how his immediate arrest will affect his plea deal.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Young Thug Remains Behind Bars As He Awaits Trial In YSL RICO Case</h3>
<p>His younger brother, Young Thug, remains behind bars as he awaits trial in the RICO case against his record label. Prosecutors claim YSL is a &#8220;criminal street gang.&#8221;</p>
<p>Thug is facing eight charges, including conspiracy to violate the RICO Act and participation in criminal street gang activity, as well as weapons and drug crimes.</p>
<p>Thug filed <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/young-thug-bond-fourth-time-healthy-food-sleep/?_gl=1*1jumx6j*_up*MQ..*_ga*MjExMzQ4Nzg0My4xNjgzMzExMDk2*_ga_V2HX8YP3XL*MTY4MzMxMTA5NS4xLjEuMTY4MzMxMTEwNi4wLjAuMA.." target="_blank" rel="noopener">a fourth motion for bond</a>, with his attorney <strong>Brian Steel</strong>, saying his client is “languishing in the County Jail,” according to a motion filed on April 24.</p>
<p>In the motion obtained by <em>11Alive</em>, Steel says Thugger <a href="https://www.11alive.com/article/news/crime/ysl-trial/young-thug-attorney-rapper-languishing-new-push-bond/85-49a4419d-8175-44b8-b00e-d54fd34ff747" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cannot stay healthy</a> and noted that his client has limited healthy food options.</p>
<p>He claims the rapper relies on food with “zero health benefits,” like chocolate and chips.</p>
<p>In addition, he says the rapper has had little access to fresh air and sunlight since May 2022.</p>

<p>Thug is constantly “sleep-deprived” due to only getting five hours of sleep every night. And when he has court appearances, he&#8217;s forced to wake up by 3 or 4 A.M., the outlet reports.</p>
<p>Judge Ural Glanville hasn&#8217;t yet ruled on the motion.</p>

<p>Thug has maintained his innocence throughout the trial, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/young-thug-trial-drugs-percocet/?_gl=1*1olg4lq*_up*MQ..*_ga*MzQ3NzkzMDAxLjE2ODI3MTEyODM.*_ga_V2HX8YP3XL*MTY4MjcxMTI4Mi4xLjAuMTY4MjcxMTI4Mi4wLjAuMA.." target="_blank" rel="noopener">plagued by several issues</a> since the start. That includes the <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/ysl-attorney-arrested-prescription-drugs-court/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">arrest of a lawyer</a>, Anastassios Manettas, who represents another defendant in the case.</p>
