<p><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/?s=young+thug&;post_type=post" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Young Thug</strong></a>&#8216;s brother is denying that he snitched after taking a plea deal in the ongoing RICO case against the rapper and his <strong>Young Slime Life</strong> (YSL) street gang, after his released from custody this week.</p>
<p>On Tuesday, <strong>Quantavious Grier</strong>, known by his stage name as <strong>Unfoonk</strong>, pleaded guilty to one county of violating the RICO Act as well as one count of theft by receiving stolen property, according to <a href="https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/young-thugs-brother-accepts-plea-deal-ysl-case-cant-have-any-contact-with-atlanta-rapper/V3WJZA2GL5DMRC42GRIE5G7M6A/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>WSB-TV</strong></a>.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Young Thug&#8217;s Brother Accepts Plea Deal For Immediate Prison Release, Denies Accusations Of Snitching</h3>
<p>Unfoonk had been sentenced to 12 years in prison, but now has two years commuted to time served alongside 10 years of probation, the outlet reports.</p>
<p>Shortly after his release Tuesday, Unfoonk posted a statement to his Instagram Stories where he denied accusations of snitching on his brother.</p>
<p>Unfoonk took to his Instagram Stories shortly after his release to respond to those accusing him of snitching on Young Thug, asking anyone to &#8220;show me in the paperwork (that) I told on anybody.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Unfoonk&#8217;s Release Depends On A Number Of Conditions, Including Community Service, Curfew</h3>
<p>While Unfoonk is indeed a free man as of Tuesday, there are a number of conditions he must meet as a part of the plea deal, including 750 hours of community service.</p>
<p>He also cannot possess any guns or commit any criminal acts, and has a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew. He&#8217;s not allowed to contact his brother or any other of his co-defendants in the indictment until the case has over.</p>
<p>Another part of the terms of his release is he must testify if called upon, however he maintains his right to invoke his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination, according to the outlet.</p>

<p>As of Tuesday, Unfoonk is the fifth defendant to take a plea deal in the YSL Rico case thus far.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, fellow YSL associate, defendant and rapper Gunna pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy last week, and was similarly released from custody after being handed down a four-year sentence with one year already served.</p>
<p>Gunna&#8217;s terms of release also include 500 hours of community service, according to the outlet.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Gunna &; Three Other YSL Co-Defendants Similarly Accept Plea Deals Ahead Of Upcoming Jan. 9 Trial</h3>
<p>He accepted an Alford plea, meaning he doesn&#8217;t admit to committing any crimes but acknowledges there&#8217;s enough evidence against him to plead guilty.</p>
<p>Gunna was similarly accused of snitching on his co-defendants and also issued a statement denying the claims following his release, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/breaking-gunna-to-be-released-from-prison-after-pleading-guilty-to-racketeering-charges-sentence-commuted-to-time-served/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>The Shade Room</strong></a> previously reported.</p>
<blockquote><p>“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” he wrote.</p></blockquote>

<p>Gunna went on to say that his “focus of YSL was entertainment — rap artists who wrote and performed music that exaggerated and ‘glorified’ urban life in the Black community.”</p>
<p>YSL co-founder Walter Murphy, Slimelife Shawty (Winnie Lee) and Lil Duke (Martinez Arnold) took plea deals as well, leaving 23 defendants left as the January 9 trial draws near.</p>
<p>However, it’s unlikely that Young Thug will be offered a plea deal, with prosecutors viewing him as “the target of this case” and will likely seek a conviction that will lead to a prison sentence, according to Atlanta-based reporter <strong><a href="https://twitter.com/neonflag/status/1605279209810808836" target="_blank" rel="noopener">George Chidi</a></strong>.</p>
