Now we all know #LennyKravitz is an established #Zaddy. So it may surprise some of yall that hes having a tough time in the dating world.
And maybe its because Lenny is looking for something a little deeper. He told @People in an interview recently that hes having a hard time finding true love and at 54, hes ready for something serious.
I would really like [to find love], Lenny said. But its difficult for me being so dedicated to my art, which is not an excuse, its just difficult.
In the interview he also opened up about his past relationships, including his marriage to Lisa Bonet, whom he referred to as one of his deepest loves.
Were like brother and sister, Lenny said of Lisa. After Lisa and I separated, we learned to find a new relationship. Then I met Jason when they got together and I love him, he loves my kid and I love their kids and were all one big family. Its beautiful.
While Lenny may not be finding love right this minute, he is finding a way to love others. This past January, Lennys Let Love Rule foundation and his dentist Jonathan Levines GLO Good Foundation brought free dental care to over 400 Eleuthera locals as part of their annual dental clinic.
Kravitz and Levines sons Julian and Cody recently partnered up to launch Twice Toothpaste, with flavors for morning and night to promote better dental hygiene and raise funds to expand the clinic to include medical services for the those in need on the island.
Its the best feeling in the world, Lenny said of the work theyre doing.
With all thats going on, Lenny isnt giving up on finding love.
Im at a place now where Ive been through so many relationships, and I havent been good at it all the time, at all. Ive had a lot to learn, but I feel like Im at a place where Im really ready for that…Things come to you when youre ready, I believe.
