R&B singer Monica and former NBA star Shannon Brown are currently in the middle of a divorce—but based on his recent actions on social media, it appears that he may be rethinking things.
Just a few days ago, there were numerous reports that Shannon Brown wanted to give away his wedding ring since his marriage to Monica is almost a thing of the past. Well, maybe he started reminiscing or was just doing it for the ‘gram, but either way, his recent actions have fans beyond puzzled.
Monica recently posted some photos on social media and Shannon was in the comments section leaving messages clearing indicating that he liked what he saw. In one photo of Monica looking directly into the camera lens, Shannon commented, “That stare does something to me!!!!!”
In another photo from the same shoot, Monica captioned it “If I said it I meant it!! Long & strong.” Shannon also didn’t waste anytime commenting on that photo and left a collection of heart eyes emojis.
One commenter alerted Shannon that he might want to let things go since the couple is divorcing, writing “It’s dead bro. U ever heard “Until It’s Gone” by your ex wife? Check it out.”
Ouch. Anyway, while we’re unsure of what to make of this whole strange situation, it doesn’t appear that Monica is moved by his sentiments. She recently dropped the last name Brown from her Instagram profile.
