<p><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">Can you believe that it&#8217;s been 14 years since the first iPod was ever introduced? Well it looks like the iPod era may be finally coming to an end!</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">This comes in as the NY Post reports that the the music gadget that has changed the world of portable music has been replaced by Apple Music! ;</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">The late Steve Jobs introduce the 5gb iPod on October 23, 2001 and by 2007 over 100 million iPods has been sold. ;</span></p>
<p><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">“This is a quantum leap,” Jobs said that day. “For most people, that is their entire music library. And it fits in your pocket.”</span></p>
<p><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Unfortunately as of today, sales have dropped dramatically especially since the iPod hasn&#8217;t been updated in almost 3 years.</span></p>
<p><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">It is alleged that ;</span><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Apple might be equipping the new  ;Apple Watch as the ;</span><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">replacement gadget for the iPod.</span></p>
<p style="margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 15px; border: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">AppleInsider released a statement saying, ;“Although [Apple Watch] costs at least $349 — $50 more than the most expensive 64-gigabyte iPod touch — it includes 8 gigabytes of onboard storage, capable of music playback when an iPhone is left at home. ;</span><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Future versions of the Watch could increase that storage and come down in price, and offer greater connectivity, such as tapping into the Apple Music streaming service,” it added.</span></p>
<p><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">Just incase you are not ready to see the iPod go, Apple says it will still sell the iPod but you just really have to look for it. They will come in only three forms:</span><span style="line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"> ;$49 Shuffle, the $149 Nano and the iPod Touch, from $199 to $299.</span></p>
