<p><strong>Young Thug&#8217;s </strong>legal team has asked the court to <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/young-thug-denied-bond-in-rico-case-and-will-remain-in-custody/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">grant him bond</a> for the fourth time. His attorney <strong>Brian Steel</strong> says his client is &#8220;languishing in the County Jail,&#8221; according to a recently-filed motion.</p>
<p>In the motion, filed on April 24 and obtained by <em><a href="https://www.11alive.com/article/news/crime/ysl-trial/young-thug-attorney-rapper-languishing-new-push-bond/85-49a4419d-8175-44b8-b00e-d54fd34ff747" target="_blank" rel="noopener">11Alive</a></em>, Steel says Thugger cannot stay healthy and noted that his client has limited healthy food options.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Attorney: Young Thug Can&#8217;t Eat Healthy Food And Gets Little Fresh Air Or Sunlight</h3>
<p>He claims the rapper relies on food with &#8220;zero health benefits,&#8221; like chocolate and chips.</p>
<p>In addition, he says the rapper has had little access to fresh air and sunlight since May 2022. The only exception is when he&#8217;s transported to and from the courthouse. Exercise, too, is limited due to his small jail cell.</p>

<p>Steel went on to claim that the rapper is constantly &#8220;sleep-deprived&#8221; due to only getting five hours of sleep every night, and when he has court appearances, he has to wake up by 3 or 4 A.M., the outlet reports.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Conditions Have Left Thugger Unable To Pay Attention To His Case Properly</h3>
<p>His attorney added that the conditions have left Thugger unable to pay attention and stay on top of his case.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;By the end of the week, Mr. Williams is fighting to pay attention to the goings on in his case,&#8221; Steel said in the motion.</p></blockquote>
<p>Steel ultimately requested that the court consider granting Williams bond and that &#8220;conditions can be imposed which permit bond to be set,&#8221; according to 11Alive.</p>
<p>Thugger, legal name <strong>Jeffery Williams</strong>, has remained in custody since he was arrested and indicted on charges accusing him of leading the &#8220;Young Slime Life&#8221; gang. The alleged gang reportedly claims affiliation with the Bloods.</p>
